Hi, I have some questions about my progress using the nisim shampoo and extract. I am a 20 years old male, and use normal to dry.

- I started with the shampoo in december, and I got the massive shedding under control.
- In march I started with the extract. I am still shedding. The magnitude of it is periodical; some weeks I can count around 40-50 hairs in the towel after showering each morning, other weeks it is less. My first question is: should it not be much less by now? It seems that my scalp is still thinning out.
- I didn't wash twice before a month ago.

- I didn't apply the extract on the whole scalp before a month ago.
- In the beginning I just applied the it to the hairlines. Now I can see small white hairs on the whole area, with higher density closer to the frontal scalp. It is not easy to spot them in the bright bathroom light, and they are a few millimeters long. My second question is: is these small white hairs a good and reliable sign of that the area will have regrowth? If so, I would appreciate an estimate of how long it will take until I can see definite regrowth with normal hairs.

- I started taking Saw Palmetto and Beta-sitosterol tablets two months ago in an attempt to stabilize the shedding.

- Thanks for any replies!

The hair loss should be under control by now for sure.  It doesnt really sound like it is working.  Make sure you wash rinse and wash and rinse again every day.  If the hair loss has significantly reduced that is a good sign but it you think it is over 100 hairs per day it might not be fully under control.  You can call us at 800 656 4746 for more personal help

It has definitely reduced the hair loss. Before I would lose much more than 50 hairs every morning, now I lose 40-50 hairs periodically, some weeks every other month or so. The rest of the time I can hardly see any shedding. I am just wondering if this periodicity is normal.

Most people will have fluctuating hair loss.  The key is that overall it is less than before.  If that is the case you should be doing ok.  It does sound like you may still be losing some hair overall though.  Some people do find this.  Unfortunatley if you are using the product correctly there isnt anything further that I can suggest.
