Hi my name is Anna, I live in Ireland. Just over a year ago my 13year old daughters hair started falling out.She was very distressed and I just cryed a lot and could not sleep thinking of what she was going through. I decided to search the internet and research what help or treatment there was out there to help my bueatiful daughter as her hair was always her pride and joy. I spent days researhing and the brand NISIM came to my attention. I went into every site I could to read testimonials etc. I did not want to buy something and find it did not work because I would have given my daughter false hope and made things worse for her. Believe me when I say I am very weiry about products that make clams to cure all,I am well educated and do not fall for things easely. I decided to purchase Nisim shampoo and conditioner. I spoke to my daughter explaining to her we would try it but not to get her hopes up. Well I can only praise Nisim, a year later her hair has completly grown back. New To Nisim

Hi, I received my products about two weeks ago, I am not so happy with the conditioner, it looks the same as the shampoo not creamy and does not give the hair a soft smooth texture like other conditioners, my hair looks and feels very dry like grass. Is this normal? I bought the product for oily hair.

Hi, I ordered NISIM after reading through other people's posts on this forum, so I thought it would be only fair to come back and give my own report to help others.

I have been using the shampoo for 32 days now, one wash per day (including a repeat shampoo for a full minute of massaging before the final rinse).

I really like the look of my hair when I style it afterwards. It's much fuller to look at because it stands out away from my scalp a bit, so that means people aren't looking at my scalp through the hair. The fullness is not due to there being more hair, it's more because of the way my hair hangs because of the good cleaning it gets from NISIM shampoo.

I have generally greasy hair and always had to wash my hair once a day. This shampoo has made the wash last longer in that the hair doesn't look greasy by the following morning before the next wash. Before I used NISIM, the hair definitely looked greasier each morning with more grease building up between the daily washes.

The same amount of hair is being lost each day, however, so I guess thyroid hairloss doesn't reduce much by using the shampoo. I wasn't able to purchase the extract or the conditioner online from Amazon, as they came up with a message advising they were not permitted for sale to Ireland, which is where I live. The shampoo was no problem though, so I went ahead with only that part of the purchase.

I bought the pump-style litre version of the shampoo for greasy hair and I'm very pleased with it as my standard shampoo now, even if it doesn't stop the shedding. Since my hair loss (chronic telogen effluvium) is caused by hypothyroidism and I've had it for over ten years, I wasn't really expecting it to stop just with a shampoo. However, the other effects of the shampoo make it worth while using.

The pump action is handy. I find I need 3 to 4 pumps for the first shampooing, as it is hard to get it foaming first time round. When it comes to the second rinse, one pump of shampoo (about a large pea-sized amount) is more than enough to get a really foamy head of shampoo going. I agree with the person who said it is very matted after the shampoo. I have shoulder-length hair and this is a real problem. As I can't get the NISIM conditioner, I'm using Botanics from Boots after the shampoo and that lets me comb through easily enough before I rinse it out. I'd recommend combing while the conditioner is still in the hair. Also, comb the base of the hair first, then work your way up towards the scalp inch by inch.

The other hassle is having to keep up the massaging for 1 minute and then rinsing and starting another minute of massaging. It seems to go on for ever, but I've started counting out the seconds by saying 'One thousand and one, one thousand and two...etc.' That way, it passes and you don't get tempted to wash it out more quickly.

To sum up - If your hair loss is not too noticeable, but you could do with a shampoo that helps make it even less noticeable by giving it more body and having it stand away from your scalp, then I'd highly recommend using this shampoo. Also, if you have greasy hair, it's great for that too.

For thyroid hairloss, I'm afraid it didn't reduce the hairs lost each day, but at least now I know that my hairloss is not DHA related hairloss and I've found a shampoo I like using.

Using Anti Frizz and Split End Products while using Nisim

I AM FROM SOUTH AFRICA, AND HAVE BEEN USING NISIM FOR ABOUT TWO MONTHS NOW, AND MY HAIR LOSS HAS REDUCED BUT IM YET TO SEE IF NEW HAIR IS GROWING, MY FIRST QUESTION IS AFTER HOW LONG SHOULD I SEE RESULTS? IT IS A BIT TOO MUCH TO WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY SO I AM WASHING IT EVERY SECOND DAY IS THAT OK, AND ON THE DAYS I DON'T WASH IT SHOULD I STILL USE THE EXTRACT? THEN I HAVE BEEN USING ANTI FRIZZ PRODUCTS ON MY HAIR BEFORE AND AFTER I STYLE MY HAIR WILL THIS EFFECT THE PROGRESS? THESE PRODUCTS ARE JOSHUA GALVIN PRODUCTS, AND I ALSO USE A SPLIT END REPAIR FOMULA ON MY ENDS, ITS BY KAIR, IS THIS OK? Nisim and Psoriasis

Awhile back, I asked whether the extract could be used alone, because the shampoo was making my face turn red. The answer was that the two work in harmony. I think I should mention that I've since discovered it was the combination of shampoo and facial cleanser I was using that made my face turn red. Or at least, it seems that way. When I cut out the facial cleanser, which I had been using for months with no ill effect, my face didn't turn red after shampooing anymore. I'm just writing this to set the record straight: Nisim shampoo on its own did not cause an allergic reaction in me. Whether the shampoo and extract are working, I'm still not sure. It may be working. I want to give it a little more time.

Hi,

I read great reviews about nisim and i really want to start using these products, but before using them i want to be sure of one thing. I am currently using a topical solution 3 times a week and is supposed to clean the follicle. Now i honestly dont know what it is made of because i have been getting it from a clinic that specializes in hair loss. Im just scared that in some way nisim products might not be compatible with it and i start shedding more. So my question is whether there are any solutions that nisim is not compatible with? i know this is vague but would really appreciate you input.

I think I am allergic to the shampoo, because my face turns bright red after shampooing. This does not happen when I use the extract. Can the extract be used without the shampoo?

Hi everyone,

My hair was thinning quite a bit. Had to keep brushing hair in different directions trying to deal with the problem. Most of the thinning is on the crown. Areas around the temporal lobes had receded a bit. So I started this:

A little over 1 month ago I began using 5% Minoxidyl (2x a day).

The Nisim shampoo I've been using for about 3.5 weeks (1x a day, washing as recommended 2-3 times).

I have been using the Hair And Scalp Extract for about a week now (2x a day).

I'm not expecting stellar results just yet, but I will say this:

My hair's already feeling thicker on top (on the very top, not the crown) than it's felt in years. Already I can part my hair down the middle, which is something I couldn't do for a long time. In that area, it's definitely the darkest/thickest I've seen for the areas that were thinning.

Now mind you, I've still got areas on the crown and lobes to deal with, but they just don't seem as thin. The crown has begun to somewhat fill in, I notice the hair seems to grow in a pattern towards the "eye of the storm".

I have periods of itching where it amusingly feels like hair is growing. This isn't an irritation, just a slight itch.

The shampoo is great. Even if I didn't have thinning hair I'd keep using it. I have hard water and nothing cleans the hair like the shampoo does.

I've had some (I've seen less than say, 20) tiny dark hairs shed but I'm not in a state of panic. I used to lose lots of hair in the shower and sink, and I'm just not seeing as much of that anymore.

I realize a lot of the immediate growth could be attributed to the minoxidyl. I know it takes time for the Extract to kick in, but several years ago I took Minoxidyl alone, and had hair regrowth but not feeling so thick. So I think the shampoo is definitely kicking in.

I will keep you posted of my progress.

Seal on Nisim Biofactors extrat

I recently purchased a kit from a third party vendor (justoc.com) including 1 sealed shampoo, 1 sealed conditioner, and 1 UN-sealed Extract. Does anyone know if the Extract comes without a seal? The product looks legit, but i'd like confirmation before putting it on my head. I've e-mailed both Nisim and the reseller twice with no response.

Any help appreciated.

I am a 57 year old male and have been losing my hair on top gradually for a few years. I have been using the shampoo and gel extract for 1 year and have been pleased with the shampoo. I would say that it has slowed down my hair loss. However, I have not had any new hair growth and I am beginning to feel that after a year of using the gel as directed that any new growth is very unlikely. Would you agree?. I am definately going to continue with the shampoo though.

Hi everyone, my hair has been falling out for about 3-4 weeks and it is very upsetting. (This has been a problem every so often.) It already looks noticeably thinner. I have tried Minoxidil but it made me dizzy. Can't use that anymore! So now I am trying Nisim shampoo and extract. I started to use it two days ago. Following this first time usage, I had a lot of falling hair, much more than I usually do. This was quite alarming to me. So I have not repeated use and am hesitatant to continue. I think if I have a week of this kind of hair loss, there won't be much left.

The theory about losing 100 hairs per day might be normal for someone with a full head of hair. For me, this would not be normal since I have fine thin hair to begin with.

It seems to me that washing the hair once a day with applying the extract twice a day, is a lot of action on the scalp and therefore would make more hair fall out (hair that probably would fall out anyway later on, admittedly). I was very gentle when shampooing and applying the extract.

I noticed however that the product gives the hair a different texture and makes it look fluffy. It was also a little sticky to comb through which may have added to losing more hair.

I am now really scared to continue doing this because if I loose this much hair every morning, what am I going to look like in a week?

Shampoo / Biofactor Extract Best Practice

Within the last 2 months I have started using both your Shampoo and Biofactor extract.

The instructions advise you shampoo, leave for 1 minute, rinse and repeat, then 5-10 drops of the extract solution should be applied twice per day (massaging not rubbing etc).

Due to my daily routine (I go to the gym every day) I have been shampooing once when I shower in the morning (7am) then applying the Biofactor as insructed, then leaving my second shampoo until my second shower after my workout (7pm) then apply the Biofactor again.

In addition, my hair loss is currently not too sever and is currently only thinning around my crown. I have thick hair so apply hair wax to style, therefore my second shower really does require the use of shampoo to remove not only the excess sweat which will build up due to my workout but also to remove the sticky hair wax.

Please advise the best practice to adopt based upon my circumstance.

hello iam a user of nisisim newhair for about 7 moths now and this are mine results:

1-4 moths: mine excessive hairloss has stoped and mine hair starts to have more volume and shining

4-6 months: still the same no regrowt in mine hairline

7 moths: yeaaah its seems to start to grow back now in the hairline. the minihairs become darker and ticker not all but already few and also they get some more lenght today i saw in the mirror even 2 hairs come out of one hairfolicele?

for sofar i think iam going to love nisim now after 7 moths I like tsee mine hair start to have some regow. I ill keep using this product love it !

I've been experiencing hair loss for the last 3 years now. I've been using nisim for about two weeks now. Not sure how I'm feeling about it. While I'm shampooing, I pull my hands away, and still see a noticeable amount of hair in my hands. I honestly can't tell whether its less than before.

Is there suppose to be some initial shedding in the first two weeks?

Blowdrying and hairspray

Today was my first day using the product, so obviously I can not give any form of testimonial. I hope I'm posting in the right place, this seems to be the only place that allowed me to post. Anyway, my question is regarding using a blowdryer, because that is how I usually style my hair. Can I use a blowdryer after using the extract??? What about hairspray?

Shampoo tangles hair too much

I'm a female who's always had thin hair, however at the end of September, due to stress of my wedding I assume, my hair started falling out in clumps. It's so depressing as I now have bald patches on my head and need to strategically part and rearrange my hair everyday to mask my scalp showing!!! I started using the shampoo, oil-free conditioner and the extract a month ago, and while I don't expect to see immediate results with the hair growth, I do have a comment/question.

I have never had as many problems with my hair being knotted and tangled as with this shampoo. It seems that every time I shampoo my hair, with the same technique as I always do without a problem, my hair gets severely matted and knotted on the sides of my head. It is the weirdest thing! Not even the conditioner helps with this and I find that every time I try to gently comb the knots out, the process pulls out even more hair! I can't afford to loose any more hair! I am being as gentle as I can be, but at the end of it, my sink is full of hair. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else had this experience?

Also, what is the harm in rubbing the extract in as opposed to massaging it in?

And lastly, is there a difference in the time it takes to regrow hair, when it is lost due to stress as opposed to hormonal imbalances or other genetic factors? Thank you.

Let me start by saying that I am a Cancer Survivor and received your product through the "Look Good, Feel Good" group located at the QE2 cancer clinic in Halifax, NS, Canada. On July31st /06, I had 1/3 of my right lung removed due to lung cancer and then four months later found out that I had a brain tumor. OK, so it's been the 3rd day and my hair is much cleaner. I don't see hardly anymore dandruffs. The smell has kind of subsided as well not completely but better. Although I think I'm losing a little more hair than before. Not quite sure. It hasn't help hair loss quite yet. When will I see less hair loss and hair growth?

I'm also taking yasmin as a birthcontrol pil and lots of different hair vitamins.

I've been using you nissim hair products for about a month now. I do see new hair growth coming in, but, when I shampoo my hair I loose between 40 to 100 hairs every time. Is this supposed to happen.

Here goes...

My hair is gone...and have been ..waaaayyy longer than 3 - 5 months some places. I have now been using the shampoo and extract for ca 4,5 months. Is there any point in me doin this..or am I just setting myself up for a disapointment ? I'm not expecting miracles or something like that, but if 5 months is the "limit"..well ? How long should one stick to the treatment before one can determin that it's not working..and probably won't be working ?

And, is there any reason none of the smileys have hair ??

Anyone over 40 that have any before & after pictures ? The reason for asking is that these guys should be in the same boat as, me timewise and hairlosswise. If you do...please let me know, and also..how you are using the products, when a friend of mine and me can't seem to agree what will be the proper way to apply the products.

Darker Hair from using Nisim

Dear Nisim

I used to suffer (mildy only) from thinning hair. I only noticed this recently when my hairdresser said 'you're losing your hair'. I had to agree. I immediately took action.

I've been using the shampoo + biofactors extract (and usually the conditioner as well) and my hair has steadily got significantly more dense and thicker, but it has also got darker, which I wasn't expecting. Is this colour change in each strand something that can be expected from having thicker hair? Will each strand become darker itself once it gets thicker at the root, or is this just an illusion of darker hair now that it has become thicker?

I was skeptical, but the results speak for themselves. I will be a customer for life, and can honestly suggest that all men, even if you're not losing your hair, use this stuff.

I use the deep cleansing shampoo and oil free conditioner every day and the extract twice a day. I have been doing this for 3 months, and the hair at the back of my head has accelerated growth but on top and temples, it continues to thin. The worst part is the tangling; this is a nightmare and happens immediately on using the shampoo, before I use the conditioner.
