About two months ago my wife started using Kalo. She is starting to see results that really surprised her. After applying it to her legs for the last two months she now only has to shave her legs once a month. Kalo really does work, it completely slows down the growth of hair and really makes a difference in giving women smoother skin and less problems with unwanted hair. She actually got a prescription from her dermotologist a while back and it didn't work at all. Kalo is the #1 hair inhibitor. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone!

Hello, I have a question.
I'm a male who's been thinking about using Kalo.
I have very hairy legs and I'm insecure about them,
I know it's a weird insecurity for a guy to have but I don't like the comments I get about it.
So I was wondering, could I wax my legs and then use the Kalo treatment, and do that a couple times to thin out the hair?
I don't want to remove it completely but I thought that I could stop when I felt comfortable with how it looked?
I just want the hairs to be thinner, weaker, and a lesser amount.

Could that work? Also, about how many times would you recommend me to do the treatment, know I don't want a full complete removal?

Thinking about using Kalo

So I have extremely thick, coarse hair all over my body. Legs, arms, back, stomach, the "nether regions", and everything in between.
I'm definitely willing to wax beforehand and then use Kalo, but I'm afraid that it could slow or stop the growth of the hair mid-way, meaning there is hair, but it's not above the surface.
For some this may not seem like a problem, but it is for me. Because of the dense nature of my hair, it can look like a black dot on my skin (that's why shaving is so horrible for me).
My question is, when Kalo starts producing the permanent results (hair growth stops), how can I be sure it'll be before any hair emerges from the follicle?
My second question is, does Kalo seem to thin out hair and make it finer more so than slow the growth? Because if so, that's exactly what I'm looking for!

hi i am a male in my early twenties and have hair all over my body. I started waxing so the hair on my legs are becoming less but when unwaxed they grow very long, thought not very thick now but when they become longer they appear to be thick. I didnt have much hair on my back but once i waxed it has become more now. My question is that when i get my self waxed do i have to apply kalo directly or can i take a shower and clean up and then apply it?

I dnt want my hair completly gone i just want it be finer and thinner will kalo do that? and one i have achieved this and stop using kalo will the hair go back to what it was?

As getting waxed is pretty much expensive for me i have decided to get an epilator, will that work, are there guys out there who use it?

Nair Before Nisim Kalo

I have started using Nisim Kalo recently with amazing results, even after one single treatment. I have been using a Tweezing device from Braun, but that is an extremely painful way to remove the hair.

I was wondering, Nair claims that it removes hair by breaking down the bonds that hold in the hair, and they claim this takes place under the skin.

My question is whether this is equivalent to epilation, and it Nair removes the root of the hair, wouldn't Nisim Kalo be just as effective after nair as it would be after tweezing?

hi i just regestered to this website... and here is my story (if i may call)

alright i'm a fine time follower to this companies products but this is this 1st time i try a product... i used KALO once now but i noticed that hair grew faster that it used to...i used to wax my legs(for examble) and takes about 3 weeks to month to start seeing hair grawing back...but once i used KALO (3 times the waxing day and 3 times the next day) the hair grew back after 1 week almost... thats not normal... to be honest i am a hairy female... not so proud to say that but thats the truth... i even have hair on my tummy... and no i don't have hormons problem i checked...but still this is not my first time waxing why this happened? should i go on?? i didn't experience any arritation or any problems when i appied it...i applied it on my legs under knee..and arms and under arms and tummy...

Excited about Kalo

Hi,

I just wanted to share my experience with Kalo, so far it has been a very positive one. I purchased the Kalo 4oz spray bottle almost two months ago, and have used it on my underarms and legs.

I have definately noticed that my underarm hair grows back finer and I think there is even less of it now, I am 100% convinced Kalo is working for me there. I epilate under my arms by using an electrical epilator that pulls the hairs out from the root like tweezing does. It used to always be really painful for me to remove it this way but I put up with it anyway, however now that there seems to be less hair and it is finer...it's way less painful for me to epilate, I am so excited with how my underarms will turn out in future with the contined use of Kalo.

Also I have noticed that my leg hairs also appear finer, I have had less applications on my legs than my underarms, but again it seems to be working for me ... I wax my legs myself with wax strips, then use the electrical epilator to remove any hairs I miss before applying the Kalo as directed.

Even though I find Kalo a bit on the expensive side it will definately be worth it in the long run if I continue to get results like this...and it's alot cheaper than laser!

So I recommend people to give Kalo a go...I was very sceptical at first but glad I have tried it now! What a pleasant surprise it had been. I plan to get more bottles to try on other areas.

For the record I am caucasian with dark brown/black hair with a pale to medium skin tone.

Just started using KALO Hair Inhibitor lotion and I have to say I doubt I will use it long enough to see if it will work. The reason..... the AWFUL SMELL of this product! If Nisim can do something to improve the odor I may purchase again but I cannot tolerate something that smells so awful being applied to my face (especially upper lip and chin where I breathe it in all the time). It's too bad because I had success with Kalo ingrown hair treatment spray before and that product actually smelled nice. I will of course send an e-mail as well advising Nisim of this feedback but I wanted to share as I was not expecting the product to smell they way it does (YUCK).

I have read articles claiming that this super herb used in India is very effective on removing unwanted hairs. Does KALO use this herb? They say, make a paste of turmeric powder with salt and apply it on the face. After dried up, wet a little and remove by scrubbing the face with the fingers. I wonder if this works effectively. I want to know how safe Kalo hair products are? I decided to do some research b4 i made a purchase and came across a website which claims the ingredients contained in Kalo inhibitors are related to breast cancer. The ingredients in question are propylparaben, methylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, EDTA. These dont mean a thing to me but research shows remains of the above ingredients (also found in underrm deodorants) have been found in cancerous tissues.

Also I found that Kalo is claimed to be a herbal product so why have the above ingredients been used??!!

Dear Readers,

Just like others, I’m sick and tired of shaving everyday so I’ve searched the internet about products that will help minimize the growth of facial hairs. There are numerous products appeared when you search the keywords “Hair Inhibitor”. I’ve found one that interests me a lot because of the claim that it will not just slows the hair growth but it can stop it through time. So I gave it a shot even if I’m skeptical and don’t have much money to spend. I’ve taken the risks and purchased one bottle of KALO spray and one bottle of KALO lotion for about $90 from a local distributor. Before I use the product, I read a lot and participated on a forum and ask questions that I have in mind. Until fully convinced and I fully understand how it works, I started to do some actions. Since waxing is not a good option for men facial hair removal and electrolysis is expensive, I resort to tedious tweezing. The method is painful because my hairs are course black deep rooted on the face. I’m aware of the consequence, so I make sure that everything is sterilized. Because I’m heavy bearded, I strategized the tweezing, area by area. Each area I’ve been through, I applied KALO as instructed and continued tweezing the other area the next day. After 3 days, I fully removed all the hairs from the face. After a week, I’ve noticed ingrown hairs abreast with grown hairs. I continued tweezing and applied KALO as instructed. Week after week, I’ve noticed that hair growths are getting sparser and lots of fine hairs all over the face. KALO is affecting the hair growth for there are lots of areas with less hair than before. Using KALO is not an overnight miracle but a series and a gradual effect as I observed. There will be evident results before the entire first bottle of spray is consumed. If there are no changes then KALO is not effective and should stop using it. But it is very impossible that it will not be effective if the instructions which are very simple are followed correctly. I’ve provided some pictures and few steps I’ve taken for reference. The pictures are taken before I do tweezing so that I can give a clear picture of the development of every application.

A) Heavy beard all over the face down to neck

On the pictures above, you can see that the hairs are very course, thick, black and scattered across the face.

B) Tweezed areas

One by one the hairs are pulled from its root. You can see some portions of skin where hairs are already pulled out. Try to be cautious when tweezing these kinds of hairs. Sometimes there are bloods upon extraction. Expect a painful experience for the first time the hairs are pulled. The areas tweezed will surely turn into red. (The following day, expect some minor infection similar to acne or pimples or small boils. I don’t know how it is called).

The picture 1 and 2 are taken during the first 3 days of tweezing the hair out of the face. Some hairs grow back naturally after 4 days. So, I plucked it everyday and applied KALO solution.

A) Hair growths are sparser

There are spotted less dense areas of hair growth across the jaw down to neck. Notice some areas where there are no hairs. On my estimate this is a 20%-30% less hair growth.

B) Unusual white hairs

Although there are natural white hairs you’ve seen on picture 1, but these white hairs are different. These are soft and weak and get break easily when pulled by the tweezers.

A) More lesser hair

Bumps are caused by ingrown hairs. As you can see in picture 4, there are less dense hairs compared to picture 3 with more bumps.

A) More Lesser Hair

Week after week, hairs are getting sparser. The black spots or dots are ingrown hairs that grow more slowly. Sometimes they have shallow roots that can easily be removed through scrubbing.

B) Fine Hairs

These are fine hairs growing on this side of the face. It is not clearly seen in the picture but it is really there.

This picture 5 is taken after 8 weeks of applying KALO on the face. Each picture is taken before tweezing and treatment. It has been 8 weeks since I’ve touched my face with a razor. Every tweezed is compared to 2-3 days of shave free. I’m tweezing every 4 days now and sooner or later every week or every month or not anymore.

Tips for Men (Facial Hairs):

1) As much as possible pull the hair from its root rather than shaving.

2) KALO is effective when the hairs are pulled from its root. When it’s not, you will just waste money, efforts and time. It works best during the anagen phase of hair life cycle. For it will disturb the hair growth by preventing some components of hair to reach it. I don’t know exactly how it works but it is how they explained it to me.

3) If you have course black deep rooted hairs then it is a good sign that KALO will be more effective because it will leave a large pores where the solution can permeate easily. But it will take longer time to kill the root. It will take you about 4-5 times of tweezing the same hair or even more.

4) Apply KALO Solution using with clean cotton and spread it over the face.

5) The quality of the application should be like droplets of water as if you’re perspiring.

6) Let the solution dry naturally.

7) In this case you will notice that it will be absorbed by the skin and leaves a soft like moisturized surface.

8) Do it twice after 15-30 minutes interval.

9) The last application would be the lotion. Lotion will seal the pores. Let it stay there for an hour or more.

10) In summary: Apply 2x using the spray solution and apply the lotion for the 3^rd time

11) The next day, do the procedure again.

12) The concept here is treating the skin while the pores are still open where the KALO can penetrate and reach the very root of hairs. This can be done 24 hours after the actual tweezing.

Monitoring the effects of KALO:

1) After a week of first application, you will notice growth difference between hairs.

2) Hairs will grow differently on different rate and proportion on your face.

3) You will notice that there are like ingrown hairs on some areas and there are like naturally grown hairs on some part. See the pictures I’ve provided.

4) This is normal because the solution is working in background.

5) In this situation, you should avoid shaving even if you are tempted to do so because of not visually appealing.

6) Get a tweezers and pluck those hairs which you can pull from its root.

7) Apply KALO again using the prescribed method above and if you have more money try to use the Ingrown Hair Treatment (IHT). Just follow the instructions provided when using the Ingrown Hair Treatment. This product will help you remove ingrown hairs.

8) Day after day you will see ingrown hairs and grown hairs across your face. Just repeat the routine every day. Tweeze the visible grown hairs until you’re satisfied, apply KALO and Ingrown Hair Treatment (IHT), and leave them on your face for several minutes to an hour.

9) Give yourself at least 2-3 hours a day for these routines if you are a heavy bearded man. Lesser time if you are not.

10) You will notice that hairs grow slower after 2-3 weeks. And your tweezing interval will be 2-3 days and tweezing time will be less than 1 hour.

11) Time after time hairs are growing weaker and you will notice the increase of white or colored hairs aside from the natural color of your hairs. If you pull this, those hairs will get break easily for they are so soft / fragile.

12) You will also notice increase of shallow rooted hairs which are different from ingrown hairs where the roots are deep. I think these hairs are on their telogen phases (resting phase) which are caused by KALO solution itself (I believe).

13) This is not an overnight miracle as I said before. In my case, I’ve seen the result I’d like to see only after 8 weeks of tweezing and applying KALO. And continuously doing the routines I’ve wrote here until such time I’m free from facial hairs.

14) A bottle of spray can give partial results for a small area like face. Another 2-3 more bottles, maybe a full result can be achieved in the long run.

15) It takes more persistence when using this method. Every permanent hair removal technology has its own methods, effectiveness, price and results. Choose whatever good for you and where you are comfortable with. If you are happy with the results, it is worth spending time and money.

PROS:

1) Comparing to laser treatment, KALO hair inhibitor is much more economical achieving the same results of inhibiting the growth of hairs.

2) It doesn’t hurt the skin. I don’t have allergies, complications or unusual results conspicuously seen on the surface. (You should always test your skin before using any kinds of chemical).

3) It’s easy to apply the solution which leaves the skin smooth and moisturized

4) For a longer time, it is a permanent solution of stopping hair growth.

CONS:

1) It takes patience and perseverance to see the full result which is about 8 and more weeks

2) Tweezing is tedious for heavy bearded men.

3) It will not work for everybody but you can always give it a try.

My 20 year old son has an extremely heavy beard and could shave twice a day. He asked me to check into laser hair removal for his face. I decided to check the internet for something else before laser hair removal. I came across Nisim Kalo Inhibitor and have been reading your customers post. It sound like a promising product, but as I understand it, if he stops using the product his beard will return to it original state. If he continues, will he have to at least use it less often than in the beginning? He is desperate. He gets so upset when he shaves because he ends up with bumps and nicks after each shave.

I would really like to try Kalo hair inhibitor, but i'm worried it won't work for me. the guarantee says to just return the unused portion and you will get your money back if it doesn't work, but what if i use a lot of it over a long period of time? For instance, say I end up using 4 or 5 or however many tubes of the lotion over a year in hopes that it just takes time but i just never see results. Will I be able to get back all the money i spent on all 4 or 5 (or however many) tubes of lotion? also, i believe the instructions for use say to apply 3 times on the day of hair removal then 3 times the next day. if i apply kalo more than that, like every day or something, will i see faster results?

I have just bought some Kalo and was planning on using it after shaving my face to see if it will help slow down the growth of my beard.

After shaving I usually use an aftershave splash to close the pores etc. Can I continue to do this if I use Kalo? If so should I use the splash first then the Kalo or the other way round?

I am 29 years old and I have an extremely thick coarse beard that I am trying so hard to get rid of or at least lessen it.

Since you can't wax your face, will this product really work with just shaving? Will it just slow it down? Will it make a noticable difference?

My biggest problem with it is that I have a constant shadow. People ask if I even shave at all!

Kalo, Hair growth and minoxidil

I'm just wondering if anyone can please help, I am female and have genetic hairloss so it is thinning on the crown right at the front but also generally all over, so I have been using minozidil for a for a few month which has been working really well, but it also make hair grow on my face, temples upperlip and neck (apparently this a a side effect but I wasnt told befor I started using it!) can I use kalo after having my face threaded or will it affect the minoxidil? I am also going to use the shampoo as I have read some great feedback on it so that will help the hair on my head! I hate body hair, so I would like to permanently remove the hair on some areas of my body. I use an epilator and I apply Kalo once after epilating.

My question: -is applying kalo once after each session enough to permanently remove the hair (or is 3x times and 3x the day after the strict minimum?)

And my second question is: can I use Kalo preventively? I don't have hairs on my back and chest (yet), but I don't want hairs to grow their neither. If I use Kalo on those areas already, will that prevent hairs to grow?

Facial Hair Removal

Hi,

I have previously gotten a complete facial wax for the first time some months back. However, I was told not to put anything on my face for 24 hrs as the pores are open and that could lead to break out. Instead a mix of alcohol and another oill was applied. I broke out anyways, and they are still there.

First of all, is it even save to apply Kalo when the pores are open? Secondly, how do I know if it will clog my pores or not? Lastly, my hair returned a bit stiffer than what it was. Is not waxing supposed to make the hair finer?

im a mother.. and hv been using hot wax to removw my facial hair for about 9 years.. every 3rd day the hair keep on coming back and i hv always to wait for them to grow long enough to be covered in wax ... and if someone says that pain reduces...its a lie.. coz everytime it hurts as much as it did the first time..

Certain shampoos adversely affecting the inhibiting process

Hello,
I wear a silver pendant that discoloured, turned black. The jeweller suggested I was using a shampoo that had sulphur in it and this was tarnishing the silver. I don't wish to discredit Head and Shoulders but that is what I'm using and liking it. However if there is sulphur in it, and your product is trying to inhibit hair growth by masking sulphur, I feel this is counter-productive. It stands to reason that shampoo will run down my body and combat the Kalo that I have put on, making the inhibit process no good. If this is the case, please let me know by reply what shampoo you would recommend until the hair is gone. I have been trying for a long time to remove some pubic hair but am having great difficulty since there is significant re-growth. I just want to remove this hair permanently once and for all and need your expert advice on this.

Kalo and 'Brazilian' waxing

I decided to try Kalo after a Brazilian wax treatment (the removal of all hair in both the bikini and the genital area).

I had read the Kalo scientific research report and knew that Kalo was reported to be more effective on arms and legs than on pubic hair, but I decided to give it a try.

I tried to do the waxing myself at first, with disastrous results: too painful, ineffective epilation and a painful loss of a layer of skin in some places. I then went to a beauty salon and had the job done professionally and more or less painlessly, after which I applied Kalo as instructed: 3 times a day for 2 days.

The results were astonishing: the hair started growing back after 3 weeks, much finer hairs than formerly. The hairs were so fine that I was able to easily do the next waxing myself, with sugar wax strips, the remains of which are easily removed with warm water.

I have now had 3 waxings and used Kalo 3 times, as instructed. Waxing is now incredibly easy, there is much less hair growing back and most of the hairs are baby-fine, some more like fuzz than real hair. This fuzz-hair has also lost its pigment and is almost white in colour. It now takes a month before the hairs are long enough to be waxed (about half a centimeter).

I must admit I was sceptical about Kalo at first, but it has turned out to be an excellent investment, saving me the expense of visiting a beauty salon once a month to have the job done.

I realise that Kalo does not work this efficiently for everyone in all body areas, but it certainly has worked for me and I can only recommend people to give it a try, as I have done. Good luck!
