I am a 20 years old male, and use normal to dry.

- I started with the shampoo in december, and I got the massive shedding under control.
- In march I started with the extract. I am still shedding. The magnitude of it is periodical; some weeks I can count around 40-50 hairs in the towel after showering each morning, other weeks it is less. My first question is: should it not be much less by now? It seems that my scalp is still thinning out.
- I didn't wash twice before a month ago.

- I didn't apply the extract on the whole scalp before a month ago.
- In the beginning I just applied the it to the hairlines. Now I can see small white hairs on the whole area, with higher density closer to the frontal scalp. It is not easy to spot them in the bright bathroom light, and they are a few millimeters long. My second question is: is these small white hairs a good and reliable sign of that the area will have regrowth? If so, I would appreciate an estimate of how long it will take until I can see definite regrowth with normal hairs.

- I started taking Saw Palmetto and Beta-sitosterol tablets two months ago in an attempt to stabilize the shedding.

- Thanks for any replies!

Nisim Advice Please

Ok, so I used Propecia for 5/6 months and the end results were great even though I had some seriously horrible shedding periods.

Unfortunately I developed some unbearable side effects on the Propecia so the doctor recommended I come off it, so I did.

I then started using Nisim normal-dry shampoo and the results were brilliant. After about a week or so, hair stopped shedding and my hair looked thick and really amazing (thanks to both the re-growth from Propecia and thickness/non-shedding from Nisim)

Then around 2 months later I had a horrible shedding period, but continued to use Nisim daily 2X rinse as I had been doing. Unfortunately the Nisim couldn't stop the shedding, I thought it would.

The shed continued for around a Month.

I then stopped the Nisim last week and restarted after reading this forum. It seems to be working at the moment and has reduced the shedding and hair looks thicker, but unfortunately due to the shed, I've noticeably lost A LOT of hair.

Not too sure what the shed was down to (maybe stopping the Propecia, or alternatively it could have been the Nisim, or some other factor), but the question is, is there a chance some of this shed hair will grow back, or have I lost it for good?

Thanks for reading.

Biofactors to F.A.S.T and back

I started with Biofactors normal to oily shampoo with the gel extract. I did not buy the conditioner. I did not notice any problems. After about 6 weeks, I switched to FAST because I wanted to grow out of a bad hair cut. I did buy the conditioner and shampoo in this case. After two months, when I went back to Biofactors, I found the gel formulation extract very irritating and it made my scalp scaley and sore. Is there something about switching that did this? It was ok before I switched to FAST and I noticed increase hair growth on my hairline. Can I just use the Biofactors shampoo and conditioner and forget about the gel? I can't figure what triggered this reaction. I don't even get to use the extract twice a day with the soreness and pimples on my scalp. A kind of weeping dermatitis of the scalp. It goes way if I leave out the extract. Any ideas?

Why not produce shampoo's without SLS?

Hey

I've done some readin again and found out that your shampoo contains SLS (Sodium, Lauryl or Sulfate as it is short for) How come you use that in a product that shall improve your hair when SLS is proven to irritate and make the hair frizzy? Althoug the "normal to dry" shampoo only contain "Sodium Laureth Sulfate" wich is the less bad one the "normal to oily" one cointain the more savage "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" in adition.

No better options as ingredients?

Falling again?

Hi,
I had been using Nisim since December.
At 1st my hair was loosing about 200 per day. I bin using kerte so far but it dont give so good hold as i want and my hair often fall down as the hours pass. If i shall style my hair before i go out of the house i perfer to first use kerte, let it dry in for a minute or 2, then supply Terence Renati - Strong hold, Straight Hold Glaze as it hold it much better on my hair. My hairloss is in fairly early stages, and is most significant in the upper temple region giving me a high hairline. I started to notice the thinning about 4 years ago, and I'm 30 now.

I wash my hair everyday, and always rinse and repeat. I always work the shampoo into my scalp, usually for a couple of minutes.

I apply the extract twice daily (although I have only applied once on some occassions), always being careful to massage, not rub.

So, after 5 full months I haven't noticed any improvement. That's not to say there hasn't been any, but if there has, I haven't noticed it.

I'm wondering if there's anything you can suggest that might help me achieve better results?

Thanks

extracts proof

Hi i was wondering if you had any pictures or storys of people getting results from the extracts. I find the shampoo has reduced my hair falling out in the shower but not completely.

Few questions about the extracts:

I have the gel extract, not sure what the difference was between this and the other one. I have normal to dry hair is this the correct extract?

If i miss a area when firmly moving the scalp not rubbing does the extract still work. I mean the extract is on the scalp but i didn't press it in?

Once i have firmly pressed the extract on the areas i want to re grow, do i have to let the hair dry that the gel has got on naturally i.e no towel or hair dryer? I like to dry my hair with a hair dryer so it gets more volume and makes the thinning areas look fuller. Will this affect the extracts?

Is it ok to brush my hair to separate it as soon as i have applied the extracts? the gel makes it all stick together which makes it look thinner.

thanks adam

yellowy coloured extract

The liquid from the bottle of gel formulation extract I have just started is yellow coloured as opposed to the clear liquid that has come from my previous 3 bottles. I recently purchased my second bottle of Nisim Shampoo for Normal to Dry Hair. The lack of foaming causes me to have to use more and it doesnt distribute well through my hair.

I was wondering if there was a problem with the batch or if this is how Nisim Shampoo is going to be made from now on? Before, I thought I could just casually shampoo my hair (ie. 3x per week) and see results. Well browsing other forums, I soon realized that fighting baldness is long-term, patience deal and not a cakewalk.

So I'm back now, and I think it's a good decision. I dont see hairs coming out in the shower--I never looked before, but still, i don't see any, so that's good. I just dont like the flatness that the shampoo gives to my hair, and it does look and feel dry....but I'll sacrifice that if i ultimately get what i want. [Note: I have short hair (afro-american).]

I am also using the nisim extract after the wash, and massaging as instructed. I so regret not having been wiser and consistent with the treatment since i first bought nisim in 2007.

[Note: my hairline was receding at 21 (in 2005).] I NEED to regain lost ground.

I just bought Rogaine liquid 5%, and I wanted to use it maybe once a day (i know it's stated twice a day), maybe combined with nisim extract also once a day after shampooing. I just want to give myself the best chance to re-gain my hairline and stop the "U" that's trying to develop at the front of my crown.

thx

My hair is getting thinner

Hi. Started Nisim Shampoo and Extract in December. Varying results. Still losing up to 100 hairs a day. Recently started using the Normal to Oily in addition to the Normal to Dry as my hair has become so thin it gets oily very fast. Tried 5x washes a few times. I do have baby fine tiny hair growing in. However, the hair I have left is very thin and miniturized. All I have to do is run my fingers through my hair for it to fall out. I only use Kerte gel in my hair and no other products. So my questions are as follows:

1. Will the shampoo make my hair grow in the same thickness it was before (as in eachhair not so see through and miniturized)?

2. How long does this normally take?

3. If I am still having such hair loss - should I avoid Nisim shampoo for a week and use something else?

It is not just my loss of hair - it is the hair I have left is very very thin.

What can I do to help it?

Thinning of hair

It has been a month since I started using the shampoo and extract but I have noticed my hair has got very thin. Between when i started last april and september, i had good results. Then I had a period where I shed a lot of hair which set me a long way back. I took a weeks medication vacation, and slowly the hairs hairs have grown back since. At this point I am probably not quite at the same point as I was before the shed in september, but there is a definite improvement from when I shed the hair. However the shedding has begun once more....

Basically I would like some advice to whether I should take a second weeks break, believing I may have become somewhat resistant to the treatment again. Alternatively the shedding was a continued natural progression and my previous break did nothing and simply just slowed down my recovery, and powering on through the shed will stop it with continued use?

many thanks

My experience so far, 10 months(?) a bit on and off in the end

Ive used Nisim from normal to oily hair and extract since start. I was using the oily hair shampoo only with no conditioner. I have also been using provillus as a source of healthy diet for my hair. My scalp was no more oily within 2 months. With no conditioner, I realized that my hair was getting dry and required more volume, so last week I bought the finishing rinse conditioner. I used it for 3 days and my scalp have been feeling soo itchy and I can feel the irritation all over my head. I also noticed that I have been losing more hair now. I have done a fair bit of research on hair loss and MPB and noticed alot of positive feedback on Nisim so I decided to give your product a try. I have been using normal to dry kit as directed for about 3 weeks now but noticed I am shedding alot more. Prior to use I had noticed a dozen or so hairs on my pillow, jacket collar shower etc but nothing to serious. For about a week now I am finding hairs all over more on my pillow collar and in other areas that I never shed before, at my desk on the table feel them fall on my face!! I have also noticed that my scalp is a little more shinny but not irretated or itchy at all. my hair does however feel softer and looks thicker. What do you think? is the excess shedding normal at the beggining? Your claim is to stop or slow down hair loss within the first week of use! Does this include shedding???

Thanks

hair thickeners

well, there's some products out there which for daily use, thicken the remaining hair you have and give it the "fullness" illusion.

my bro has been using one for sometime, but im not sure what these products contain, does it have any oils or anti-nisim ingredients?

could you recommend any if they are ok to use.

thanks

/simon

used your product for about 5days so far and so far good but have a ?

so far my hair is looking alot better after the 5days of used seems to be more thicker and i might see little hair growing longer white ones.

but is my scape suppost to be shiny? before it just was not shiny at all but its pretty shiny is that a good sigh or?

my hair really aint going bald yet just geting thin and hopefully i get my fullest back i problee started seeing it going thin maybe about 2 or 3years and im 24 years old

and i used the dry to oilly kit sesne after about a day or 2 my hair feels really oilly.

after 16 months usage

hi, i used nisim for about 16 months (stopped 4 months ago due to financial difficulty) and it has not only tremendously stabilizied my har from the point when i started using it, when i was going bald by teh day (shedding like crazy) but it has also grown back a fair amount. I had not used it with the absolute procedure recommended (twice a day after showering rubbing extract until it dries etc) but was nonetheless consistent with my usage. I do have apicture i am not able to post it because it is not in a url, its just in my pictures if anyone knows how i can post it so others can see it too please let me know. But my question is this: my hair is still thin on top with absolute no receding hairline and no hereditary for sure, so if i just continue to use the shampoo by itself is there a possibility it can slow grow back or have a positive impact? Also i read here sometime ago about a very brief book that someone mentioned about tips for thinning hair (diet and little things that help your hair) and i heard from others that hte book was very useful. If Admin you know what I am talking about please let me know, or about anyother useful links or short books about how to keep your hair healthy. At one point I was seeing baby hairs sprouting out like crazy. Very exciting. My question though, is Treseme Conditioner a suitable alternative for the oil free conditioner? My hair can become very tangled after shampooing and I find the oil free conditioner just doesn't cut it when coming to conditioning and I find that Treseme is cheap and works well, Im just hoping it wont work against the shampoo and extract in anyway. So is this an ok conditioner to use?

NISIM Shampoo twice a day

Hi,

I just bought NISIM Shampoo for normal to oily.

My scalp is very oily. I do notice that it makes my hair extremely dry, which, after reading other posts i realize i'm not the only one. I have only been using the shampoo/conditioner every other day and the extract twice a day still. When i bought Biofactors my hairloss was already coming under control due to a strict diet and many various supplements that ensued after i realized how much i was shedding some 6 months ago. I'm back down to an average of 50-75 hairs per day, with approximately 20-30 in the shower. In previous months i was to nearly double that in the shower, and throughout the day. This may not seem like much to many people on this forum. But for someone like me, who has EXTREMELY baby fine hair naturally (my hair is hardly the diameter of a dime in a ponytail, for my entire life!), this increase was very very scary. I am only 24 and female. It seems to me that the hair around my temples and hairline has receded a little bit, and the hairs there are more fine than the rest of my hair. Also it seems like the hair on the top and front of my head grows at nearly half the rate of my other hair.

With that bit of background i come to my questions:

1. Is it normal for your hair to grow slower at the top and front of the head?

2. Is it normal for those hairs to be finer than the rest of your hairs?

3. Also, when applying the extract i seem to lose one, maybe two very tiny new hairs from my hairline... is this normal? (are these hairs weaker and less likely to survive and grow into full strong hairs?)

4. Since i am not shedding at a disturbing rate would using just the extract be helpful to help my hair grow thicker? (to avoid using the shampoo as much, since it dries me out so much)

5. Would it be okay to try FAST with the extract, since now my largest hurdle is growth, instead of shedding?

6. If i still only wash my hair every other day will FAST and the extract be effective?

i heard FAST isn't as hard a shampoo/conditioner, but i still would like the benefit and security of knowing my scalp is becoming healthier and DHT free with the extract.

Any, and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Increased hairloss

For the record: I'm 24 year old dude, live quite healthy, work out a lot and eat vitamins (incl B-vit).

On the 4th of January I started on the dry hair Shampoo and I was amazed by the product as a shampoo. I continued with it for 2 weeks before I switched to the oily hair shampoo to see the difference. Don't know if it's the shampoo or anything else(maybe the renati hairwax I use occationally, applied to out half of hairlength), but now it seems like i'm increasing hairloss although some days have less hairloss. Typically they day after a mayor one..

To track results I (seriously) counted the hairs in the drain of the shower:

4th of january: 65-70 hairs

2nd of february: approx. 100 hairs

Taken into account that some days it could be down to 50. This is although a bit worring since i'm suppose to loose less than hundred during ONE day!

I'm a bit cheap on the shampoo since it's a bit expensive for a student, but I get really clean hair every day.

What do you recommend? Going back to dry hair shampoo or shouldn't it matter for the result in this case? My target was to slow or stop hair loss untill I have a steady income, but should I then cut down on the student parties and invest in extracts to increase effect? Or can I expect hairloss to stablize way below todays level anytime soon?

In advance,

Thank you!

Recommended usage

Hi, I have been using the Nisim Biofactors shampoo (blue bottle) for about 2 weeks now, and the Nisim extract (blue bottle) for about 1.5 weeks. My understanding was that the purpose of the shampoo was to stop hair loss and help thicken existing hair, so my main aim here is to stop receding further inwards. The extract is being applied ONLY to the 'inward triangle shape' patches where there is no hair due to receding to promote re-growth where there is no hair and parts where there are few very thin hairs.
Before using Nisim I was using a 'normal' shampoo daily, and only ever doing one cycle at a time (wash, rinse as opposed to wash, rinse, wash, rinse). I am not sure on what the recommended usage is of this shampoo, I have been using it every day with two cycles, however I read somewhere that washing your hair every day can be bad for hair loss, so I thought that maybe I was washing too much, can you please give me some advice on the optimum amount of times to wash my hair?
Also, how do you know if your hair is dry-normal or oily-normal, and how important or damaging can it be to get the wrong one?
I haven't seen any results from the extract so far, however I haven't expected anything yet as I haven't been using it that long. If it does work, how long should it be before I see any signs of growth? I am using it twice a day once after washing it in the shower, and once before I go to bed, spreading it and massaging it in as instructed, applying it to the receding parts of my head.
Thanks for your help.

The first questions

Hello admin

Today I received my three-pack parcel of NISIM, shampoo & extract. I have few questions and hope you can give me some advice.
1.	How a shampoo can be anti DHT while it just operates on the skin? While DHT affects in the hair root?
2.	I want to use extractor for back and sides of my head, if 5 or 10 drops are enough?
3.	May I use shampoo 3 times a week, instead of each day?

I would notice that I don't expect miracle from NISIM, if it can just reduce my hair loosing, it is appreciated.

Thanks in advance for response
6.5 Months in - i'm happy - links to pics!

Hello everyone. (attached are pics... if they get deleted just email me at spriggs.sean at gmail dot com and i will show you)

Its almost been 7 months since i have been using Nisim's shampoo and conditioner combo in conjunction with the scalp therapy.

Since then, i have had about 3 separate weeks where i was just out of the scalp treatment a lot of the time i forget to use it at night as well. My point is i have not used these products 100% consistantly, however i am so happy with how things are going.

Ill just get right to what everyone wants to know.

It took me about 2.5-3 months before i noticed my hair thickening (this is going between a buzz cut and a mohawk).
Once my hair started thickening it also got darker and much healthier.
About 3.5 months in others started noticing my thicker hair. I have been complimented about it numerous times since then.
At about 5 months i felt confident enough to try and grow my hair out, something i ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT DO with my old hair. I had such low self esteem about it.
2 months later, i am SO happy with my hair.

Regarding the way my hair is now:

Have i experienced new hairs growing in? Maybe a little, but i dont bother searching through every inch of my scalp for that. I will say that something must have grown in because its much harder to see my "bad spot."

Has it gotten thicker? YES. YES YES YES. Dramatically

My hair is still not perfect and i dont ever expect it to be. I am still growing my hair, and i am training it so that it grows towards the bad spot (my front right crown), and falls over that. Soon my hair will start layering over itself.

Facts to consider:

I am only 23, younger people tend to do better with these things it seems.
I quit doing everything that could also lead to hair loss (smoking cigarettes, unhealthy foods, blowdrying... etc)

Pics (Notice in the image with the girl how it seems like a shadow is running across the top of my head? Its not, thats just how my balding was.... compare that to now!):

before: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/012/9/4/9481443558a618f3ff4805bc7a574559.jpg
after: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/012/5/c/hair2_by_keeperstride.jpg

Sorry, i never bothered doing an identical before/after set up. But take my word for it, i mean i wouldnt buy this stuff every month if i didnt believe in it!

_Sean

Reviews For Nisim International

So I am thinking about buying some products from here what are everyones thoughts?

Just a Question

Hi - I noticed I had lots of hair loss back in October (although obviuosly it was happening before that - but that is when it was the most apparent). Started using Nisim around 17 December. I still have shedding - I can run fingers through my hair and have hair come out. Some days are worse than others. My hair has become very thin. I love the shampoo but wonder - is it going to work for me? I mean - it is normal to still shed hair right? Even using the shampoo? I know that I do have regrowth on my scalp (not as much as I would like) so the clean environment the shampoo creates should help the regrowth that is there. I wash 2x in morning and once at night. I use the extract 2x day. Should I give the shampoo a little while longer before I give up hope?

I've been using Nisim shampoo/Extract for 3 months not working

I have been using the shampoo and extract for over 3 months and my hair is still getting thinner. It's actually worse than it was when I started using it. For a while my hair stop shedding but now Im losing just as much and it is noticeably thinner in the front and on the sides. I wash my hair with the shampoo twice in the morning and apply the extract and massage it in for a minute or so every morning and in the evenings before bed. I do that in 6 - 8 parts covering my whole top and front head. I also use the tool that follows that make the extract hit my scalp directly, using paper to dry the outside of it before each time. The reason for this method is to get as much as possible on the scalp and as little as possible on the hair. I gently dry the hair(not scalp) with paper when the applying is done.
Any thoughts on the method and if it is the best possible to apply the extract?

The experience so far is that my recarding frontline is getting better on left side( they was uneven when i started, still is but getting better). Right side was almost OK before i started and havent changed notisably.

Overall on the top of my head it seems like i lost a lot of hair as i can see the scalp many places if i stand under light. Dont have to be much light eather so it is defenitly thinner. I think the reason for the thinning is that i have using the apply extact, then massage for the first 7 - 8 months and it made my hair be almost soaked in the extract and the alcohol it contains makeing it dry and thin.
I also started using the oil free conditioner a few days ago. Hoping that will protect my hair more vs the alcohol and other stuff

Question

Hi, I just had a quick question. I just have thin hair. I honestly can'r recall if it has been like that forever or if it has been thinning naturally for awhile. As of now, I do not think i am "balding" of any sort. My scalp is not visible unless I am under a direct light. I am just paranoid that my hair will progressively become worse. I know that the shampoo can slow down the rate of hair loss and what not but I'm just wondering if the shampoo itself would help bring the thickness back into my hair.
